of Chapter 119 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following paragraph:- the department shall screen potential grandparent care givers with a twenty year maximum look back on the potential guardian’s record. This is applicable to any minor infraction that has not been repeated since the first infraction. Instances of felonies, violence, and sexual offenses, no matter when it occurred, will not be removed from the look back.
