Section 1A of chapter 151 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words “for a work week longer than forty hours, unless such employee receives compensation for his employment in excess of forty hours” and inserting in place thereof the following: - for a work week longer than forty hours or for a work day longer than eight hours, unless such employee receives compensation for his employment in excess of forty hours per week or in excess of eight hours per day.
SECTION 1. Section 1A of chapter 151 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words “for a work week longer than forty hours, unless such employee receives compensation for his employment in excess of forty hours” and inserting in place thereof the following: - for a work week longer than forty hours or for a work day longer than eight hours, unless such employee receives compensation for his employment in excess of forty hours per week or in excess of eight hours per day.
