Chapter 30B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new section:-
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary and to the extent permitted by federal law, a state agency or governmental body shall procure a minimum of ten percent of the contract value of products by businesses, as defined in section 3A of chapter 23A of the general laws, provided, that the commonwealth is their principal place of business, and provided further, that a waiver process is set forth by the awarding authority.
Chapter 30B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new section:- Section 24.
