Chapter 90 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after Section 10 the following section:-
“No person who is operating a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be in violation of section 10 of this chapter, however, a person who operates a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be responsible for a civil violation with a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00), if the expiration is less than ninety days old, and one hundred dollars ($100.00) if such expiration is ninety days or greater.”
Chapter 90 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after Section 10 the following section:- Section 10A. “No person who is operating a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be in violation of section 10 of this chapter, however, a person who operates a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be responsible for a civil violation with a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00), if the expiration is less than ninety days old, and one hundred dollars ($100.00) if such expiration is ninety days or greater.”
