Section 24 of Chapter 151A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended in subsection (a) by striking out in lines 3 and 4 the words “Have been paid wages in the base period amounting to at least thirty times the weekly benefit rate” and inserting in place thereof the following:- "Have been paid wages in at least two-quarters of the base period amounting to at least thirty times the weekly benefit rate".
Section 6 of Chapter 175M of the General Laws as appearing is hereby amended in subsection (2)(d) by striking "25 employees" and inserting in place thereof the following:-- "50 employees".
Said Section 6 is hereby further amended by inserting at the end the following:-- "(g) for purposes of this section employers of covered entities shall not be counted towards the total number of required employees for coverage."
SECTION 1.
